Finesse your stage combat skills! For those with previous stage combat experience (unless otherwise noted), get a chance to use a variety of weapons and systems, or work on learning choreography quickly. Each session is drop-in (not in sequence) and open to any over 16 years old (except youth day) with previous stage combat experience.

Dear Evan Hansen is a Tony-winning-coming-of-age musical about a lonely high school student with social anxiety. Evan fabricates a friendship with a deceased classmate to gain social acceptance. The lie spirals, forcing Evan to confront the consequences of his actions.
It is a powerful piece exploring mental health, grief, the impact of social media, loneliness, and the struggle for connection.

Learn behind-the-scenes info with real numbers, expenses you expect (royalties, theatre rentals) and those you don’t (City ticket tax, special filming licenses). Find out how to make a realistic budget and set your ticket prices so that you can pay yourself and your artists while creating work you are proud of. Led by Ian Dyer, co-owner of Good Egg Productions and Scratch Studio, and former software development product manager.
RESULT: Create a realistic budget and profit projection for your real or imagined theatre project, with assistance and fact-based numbers at your disposal.

Acting Please prepare a brief, memorized monologue for your audition. No more than 2 minutes maximum. The directors may ask you to do your monologue again with specific input, or have you improvise something.
Bring A rough rehearsal and tech week schedule will be provided, be prepared to list any potential conflicts on your audition form.
